In the year of the Dragon of 1965 I was born in Athens under the sign of Capricorn. I grew up in Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon, I was also for some time in Berlin and Munich, then came back to Lisbon, where I now live.
“And how did your interest in Tarot began?” – many people ask me. The answer is really Brazilian, because I met tarot through the soap opera “O Astro”, that I saw in Portugal when I was 14 years old. There, to my surprise, the mother of the beautiful but infortunate Amanda, I don’t know when, saw the death of I don’t know who. I’m sorry but I can’t tell you a drama story, such as the one of Saint Paul, falling from his horse, sawing lights and hearing divine voices. It just wasn’t that way.
I thank Rede Globo for changing my life. I bought my first deck near after, wich was extremily difficult to find. Back then, 30 years ago, in europe, nobody ever heard of Tarot and it took me months to find the Rider Waite Tarot deck. There was only on little book published about the theme. Years after there was an esoteric boom in the market and also in the minds, and shops were full of tarots and books about esoteric themes. Then, I started to read about classical psychology and also Castaneda, the writings of Crowley, Blavatsky, Spare, Ouspensky and many, many others. My main themes of interest were and still are the mythology ans religion, esoteric symbolism, Gnostic and general mysticism, religions and beliefs of the human being, Astrology and the Cabalah, Theosophy and Anthroposophy, the Protocols of Seth through Jane Roberts, Candomblé and magic, theoretical and practical.
Besides magic and mysticism, I also was always interested in arqueology, and the contact with Egypt, where my parents lived, was very usefull to deepen this old passion.
A few years ago, I went deeper on my knowledge on Astronomy and Astrophysics and get interested in quantum physics. The last 20 years I was in several shops and organizations, more or less hermetic, like AMORC, getting to know in a deeper way what is defined by Ocult. I left most of those organizations because I realized that this was not my path. Today, I’m only a member of the Theosophyc Society Adyar, the Theosophic Society Pasadena and the United Lodge of Theosophists (ULT).
In 1982 I began my professional work with the cards, in consultations, speeches and seminars. I use several different deck but mainly the Harris-Crowley deck.
After many years of study, in 1998, I began to work professionally with Geomancy, getting to set free of several supersticious addictions, which let the system to go deeper. For many years I collaborated with the largest magazine in Germany where I published several articles and also the appoitments “Little Tarot School” and “Astro-Tarot”. I was one of the first members of the International Tarot Society, that I represented in numerous events in Germany. I’m certified by the Tarot Certification Board, associated of Tarotsophy - Tarot Professionals e member for life of the American Tarot Association.
